Elders

The Elders of Hope Church are the spiritual authority over the church as laid out in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4. They are to lead the church in prayer, vision, doctrine, and discipline. Our Elders hold authority over our community, but this leadership is birthed out of humility. They are shepherds, not tyrants, and servants, not lords. They are undershepherds to the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ.
